Say You’ll Remember Me

Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Genre: Romance

Review: Abby Jimenez does it again with Say You’ll Remember Me. I feel like her books keep getting better and better. Samantha won my heart right away when she rescued a kitten - I mean say no more, we love a FMC who loves kittens. She brings her new kitten to the vet to get checked out and that’s where we meet the dreamy Xavier - our MMC. Samantha immediately recognizes how attractive Xavier is but quickly realizes that he’s not quite the friendliest person she’s ever met. Xavier gives Samantha some news about her kitten that she refuses to accept - she is then determined to prove Xavier wrong. One thing leads to another and Xavier and Samantha end up going on a date together - a date they both loved. After the date, Samantha has to break the news to Xavier that she’s leaving and heading home to California to be with her family. Her family has a lot going on and she needs to be there to support them. She asks Xavier to forget her and just remember their one amazing date they had together. He obviously can’t do this so they end up in a long distance relationship and trying their hardest to make it work.

This book is not only about the relationship between Xavier and Samantha but also the relationship between a family in distress. It was beautifully written, the characters were all lovable, it made me laugh and cry at times, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. If you’ve read this book, what did you think? Did you love it as much as I did or was it a miss for you?
