Review: Book 2 of the Forbidden Love series was just as great as book 1! This book follows Dylan, Row’s sister, and Rhyland, Row’s best friend. Dylan is a single mom and trying to get her life back on track. Her brother asks her to watch his NYC apartment for him while he’s away for the summer. Dylan is hesitant to accept this offer but she ends up packing up herself and her daughter, Gravity, and heads to NYC. Next thing you know, she runs into Rhyland and neither of them are happy about it. They don’t get along but Rhyland needs a huge favor from Dylan. He’s trying to win over an investor for his new app and this investor is a big family man. Rhyland’s reputation isn’t the greatest so he’s determined to show the investor that he’s a changed man and has settled down. This is where the help from Dylan comes in - he needs her to pretend like they’re getting married. Dylan, being the smart queen that she is, uses this as an opportunity to get something she wants from Rhyland - money and a babysitter for her daughter.
I absolutely loveddd this one! I love Dylan and Rhyland (and Gravity!) and just like the first book in the series, this one had so much more going on than the romance. Highly recommend reading this series!
