Truly, Madly, Deeply

Truly, Madly, Deeply by LJ Shen

Genre: Romance

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Review: How have I never read any books by LJ Shen before?! OMG I absolutely loved this book - so much so that I read the next book in the series immediately after! Calla (Cal) returns home to Staindrop, Maine after the death of her father to help her grieving mother. While taking care of her mom, Cal also wants to work on repairing her friendship with Dylan, her best friend from childhood. She also has a history with Dylan’s brother, Ambrose (Row) and she’s worried about seeing him again. When they do see each other again, Row seems to hate Cal and Cal is determined to fix that relationship, too.

I fell in love with all of the characters in this book - Cal is a quirky, sweet, strong leading character and Row is a grumpy, protective, and confident male main character. I really liked how this book was deeper than just being a romance - the characters dealt with some difficult situations and their emotions were portrayed so well through the writing.
